Free Holiday Petting Zoo

On Saturday, December 21st, 2019, bring the whole family out to the Hamilton Farmers’ Market for a free holiday petting zoo. It’s a fun day of shopping, and friendly farm animals!


Winter Solstice Festival

Saturday, December 21st, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Corktown Park


Winter Solstice Festival beckons the return to light on the eve of the longest night of the year. Revelers are invited to join in the parade of light with LED lanterns and battery powered light along the rail trail where you'll encounter spectacular projection art installations. There will be stilted dancers, puppets, a mobile percussion machine, music, fire entertainers, culminating in a huge fire finale to light up the night. Planted in Hamilton will be there with delicious hot beverages and snacks, and Cons & Kernels with their criminally good popcorn. A family-friendly event for all ages.


Free Family Skate

Pokemon Let’s Play!

Sunday, December 22nd, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Pokémon has always been one of the most popular games in our store because it does such a great job of appealing both to experienced players and brand new ones! To give players of all sorts, and all ages, a crack at playing some Pokémon every month, we are putting on a special Let’s Play! event to get everyone out to play some games!

Format: Let’s Play is a unique format because it’s a bit of everything. There will be pick-up games, as well as introductory games for anyone that is new to the game – we will have an official Pokémon Professor on hand! We may decide to run a quick tournament if there is interest. This event is for all ages.

Chanukah Dinner & Torah Celebration

Sunday, December 22nd, 4:30 pm to 8:00 ppm

Community Chanukah Dinner
Featuring a celebration with our newly completed Torah – and a raffle to write the final letter!
· Children’s Activities with our Director of Education (4:30 pm)
· Chanukiah Lighting (bring your own!)
· Fleishig dinner buffet with latkes (5:30 pm)
· Before dessert – dance with the Torah, and the final letter winner will be announced!
· Evening services to follow (approximately 7:00 pm)
